Andrew：Guys, Andy borrowed a rope from me this mornin'. He was talkin' kinda strange like. I got a bad feelin' about this...
Red：Unless I'm very much mistaken, today marks his 10th year inside. I heard the warden denied his parole application again yesterday.
Andrew：Damn it! He wouldn't be thinkin' of usin' that rope to strangle that son-of-a-bitch warden, would he?
Tommy：Must be! From my first day in this joint, I knew Andy was someone you don't wanna mess with!
Andrew：Hell yeah! Remember how he killed one of the Sisters with his bare hands? That was a bloody mess!
End
Andy's friends were wrong. He only borrowed the rope to pretend to hang himself.
He'd investigated, and knew that the walls in the infirmary are the thinnest in the entire prison.
I never saw that ending coming.
But what I admire most is how he maintained calm in the face of adversity and hopelessness.

This really is a great movie. I didn't think they would let us watch it in here. The inmates might get ideas.
Although, the movie is such a classic; Andy's escape plan would be too obvious now.
The guards would get suspicious as soon as anyone put a poster upon their cell wall.
