You and Reed had been searching for this mysterious "fallen angel" for a long time. When she finally appeared before you, she was nothing like you had imagined. Unfortunately, even when alone in a room with such a beautiful woman, you were unable to admire her beauty, as Iris had brought you a piece of shocking news.

"Reed is badly hurt..."

It all started when you called Reed and told him the address of the house that Anderson had rented for Iris. He and Selina rushed straight there and found Iris in hiding. However, Iris told you that she was afraid that the mayor's henchmen would find her, so she contacted the mayor's main rival in the election, Councilman Jerry, in the hope of exchanging the incriminating recording for safe passage to Aslovia. However, it was not the councilman who came to the house that night, but two gun-wielding assassins. Fortunately, Reed and Selina came to her aid, using their skill and ingenuity to defeat the hitmen. However, just when they thought they were out of danger, a shot fired through the window left Reed seriously injured.

Thanks to Iris's familiarity with the neighborhood and Selina's quick thinking, they finally got Reed out of the house to Selina's apartment on Pebble Street. There, Selina injected Reed with a universal serum, which temporarily stabilized him. However, he needed professional medical attention to have any hope of recovering from his comatose state, so Selina drove away with him first thing in the morning. Before saying goodbye, she also arranged a way for Iris to escape. She told her to go to Port Maria in North Point, where there would be a boat waiting to get Iris away from the city.

Iris originally intended to follow Selina's advice and go straight to the port, but after much hesitation she decided to take the risk of visiting the prison to tell you what happened that night. She also gave you the key to Selina's apartment on Pebble Street, where she had hidden the incriminating recording. She hopes that when you've served your sentence, you can find the recording and give it to someone more powerful than the mayor so you can finally clear your name, even if it is too late.

"Thomas, if this key represents destiny, I think perhaps I should put the right to decide that destiny back in your hands."
