Lester calls him "Kid". You assume that's not his real name, but it doesn't really matter to you what his real name is, does it? Whatever his name is, Kid disapproved of Lester's whining about not being able to go home from his night shift. As far as Kid is concerned, an easy job, extra pay, and the ability to go out drinking without his wife knowing is the perfect life.
