Before you met Fenrir the Wolf, you imagined countless times what he might look like, but even your wildest guesses were completely wide of the mark. He is not as strong as a mythical beast, he does not have gray hair, and he is actually a she. When you finally located your mission objective, you found, instead, a thin, weak girl named Fenra.
Fenra comes from an ordinary family in Skidroad. After her parents separated when she was young, she and her mother moved in with her stepfather. The constant fighting became the only lullaby she knew, and she grew up surrounded by the lingering stench of cigarettes and alcohol. Determined to escape this nightmare, a fortuitous opportunity arose: an invitation to attend an audition in New Mulholland, the movie and television capital of the Animal Federation. If she could get the part, she could stay in New Mulholland and start her career as an actor. It may have only been a small supporting role, but it would be a hundred times better than her current life.
But before she could set off to pursue her dream, one problem stood in her way: how to pay for the trip. Desperate for quick cash, she signed up for a drug trial at Hopps Biotech. It was not the first time she had done this, but she was certain that if she made it as an actor, it would be the last.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly, and the drug trial was nearly over. Fenra did not even experience any discomfort this time. However, things were only just beginning. Dr. Angus, a scientist at the Hopps Biotech R&D Center, discovered a new protein in the metabolites produced when Fenra's blood bound to the new drug. This protein exhibited the characteristics of a super pathogen. Seeing the potential for a groundbreaking discovery, Dr. Angus imprisoned Fenra in the center to study it further. But word of the pathogen must have leaked, and a group of gunmen broke into the facility. Although they did not discover Fenra, they killed the doctor and set the facility on fire. Soon after, Fenra was secretly transferred to Boulderton Prison, only to be subjected to even more brutal experiments, the side effects of which turned her silver-gray hair dry and brown.
Perhaps the innocence in Fenra reminds you of Wesley's sister, Marla, and of the things Wesley once said to you. Or maybe she reminds you of who you truly are, beyond an undercover agent. In either case, you promised you would get her out of here. And when she asked you who you really are, you replied "My name's Bob... I'm a cop."
