Rhino．Evan

A rhinoceros with a body as solid as rock, he stands out from the crowd even in a prison filled with tough inmates. Evan always talks about muscles and bodybuilding, and sees all skinny guys as "sissies". He is rarely without a protein shake, and his favorite leisure activity is pumping iron in the yard.

Born in a small northern town, Evan has been into bodybuilding since he was a child. With the natural advantage that comes with being a rhino, he soon became the local bodybuilding champion. He then set his sights on big cities, only to be caught taking a banned substance in a high-profile competition. Although he claimed that it was all a setup by his opponent, he was still given a harsh ban. His bodybuilding journey had come to an abrupt end.

No longer an athlete, he was forced to find a job as a bodyguard and driver. His boss was an opportunist involved in various shady businesses, and it was Evan's job to protect one of his many lovers.

She was a beautiful but melancholy canary, not young but full of mature charm. She rarely smiled, especially when the boss came to see her. After some time, she finally told Evan that she only stayed by the boss' side because of his threats. Due to a failed investment when she was young, the boss had obtained compromising material about her, and she had been little more than a caged plaything ever since. After a decade, she had become numb to it all.

Perhaps it was sympathy, perhaps it was empathy for someone else who had suffered in life, or maybe it was even wishful thinking, but Evan decided to help her. He kidnapped his boss, forced him to destroy the compromising material, and then beat the scumbag to within an inch of his life.

The rest of the story went just Evan expected it would. Without the compromising material, the canary was free at last, but Evan paid the price of prison. However, he has no regrets. After all, if fate will not allow him to show off the beauty of his muscles on stage, then at least he could use his strength to help something beautiful break free of its cage.
