Polar Bear．Vladimir

This mountain of a polar bear is a former pro wrestler. For him, the worst thing about incarceration is being kept away from the ring. His character was "Iceberg". His lore was that he is a beast from the Arctic who is incredibly strong but terrified of heat. His signature move was... Well, best not go into that. To call it corny would be an understatement.

As a teenager, Vladimir was a total jerk who would turn his fists on anyone he did not like. After leaving school, he had no idea what he wanted to do, and tried many different jobs, but all of them ended in chaos due to his violent temper. One day, he got into a fight with some other boys over a trivial matter and beat up all three of them single-handedly. A professional wrestler, who went by the ring name "Savage Shark", happened to be passing by at the time, and he asked Vladimir to join his wrestling club.

At first, Vladimir just dropped by the club to kill time, but his bad temper got him into trouble yet again. He got into a verbal altercation with a scrawny-looking wolf, but when things got physical, Vladimir was shocked when the wolf beat him into submission without breaking a sweat. In that moment, Vladimir—who had been in many scraps since childhood but never defeated—saw the appeal of wrestling, and a door to a new world opened before him.

As soon as he joined the club, Vladimir was subjected to a hellish training regiment every day, consisting hundreds of push-ups, curls, and squats, plus hours of non-stop sparring. He would wake up before dawn and go to bed at night covered in cuts and bruises. All the others who joined at about the same time as him ended up quitting because they could not take arduous program, but Vladimir persevered. After three years of hard training, Savage Shark gave Vladimir the ring name Iceberg. He was now ready to enter the ring.

Iceberg showed his amazing strength from his very first appearance, winning his first match and every subsequent match, and going on to win and then successfully defend the championship. No one had ever seen a truly unbeatable wrestler like him before, and the media dubbed him "the beast from the Arctic"! Vladimir has always been deeply grateful to his mentor Savage Shark for his success. It was this mentor and friend who saved him from descending into a life of meaningless violence and gave him glory in the ring.

However, all good stories seem to have a twist, and Iceberg's is no different. Just after he won his third title belt, he received some bad news. The now retired Savage Shark was on his way home from a movie with his daughter when he was mugged at knifepoint in an alley. While trying to protect his daughter, Savage Shark was stabbed and died.

His mentor's death caused Vladimir to fall into a pit of depression and turn to drink, which made it difficult for him to control his emotions. A few days later, Vladimir appeared as a guest on a TV show alongside a boxer, who mocked wrestlers by saying, "They're all just actors having fake fights. They don't have any real strength. Just look at Savage Shark, he couldn't even handle some street punk! Those clowns belong in a Honey Festival sideshow, not the ring. The ring is for real fighters." This trash talk angered Vladimir so much that once they were backstage he showed the "foul-mouthed blowhard" that Savage Shark's protégé is an avalanche of fury!

The boxer paid for his trash talk by spending the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Vladimir was found guilty of assault and sentenced to 10 years. The rising star had fallen.
