Black Bear．Henry

A simple, honest-looking bear who is always down because he can never get enough to eat. As winter approaches, he has started to prepare for hibernation. When you express your doubts about whether he will be able to sleep well in prison, he reveals his surprising solution: segregation. And all he needs to do to get a private room for a nice, long sleep is beat up a guard. Who will be the "lucky" one this time?

Henry is not very old, but when it comes to time spent inside, this guy must rank pretty high, as he had only just become an adult when he was arrested. In high school, he had three main hobbies: eating, sleeping, and basketball. Like every young bear, he had a favorite team, idolized the superstar players, and would fight with his friends over the best trading cards.

One day after lunch, his friend Danny the Brown Bear told Henry a secret. He heard that the rich kid in the class, Charlie the Tasmanian Devil, had a super rare Liberty City Sabers card signed by one of the players. Rumor had it that you could use the card like a ticket to watch the team's training sessions.

Henry was a huge Sabers fan, and he knew the stats of every single player off by heart. It had always been his dream to go to one of their games. Unfortunately, his family's financial situation meant he had never had the chance. So, once he heard the news, he could not think of anything else all afternoon. After school, he found Danny and told him about his bold plan to steal the card while Charlie's family was out.

The two of them spent two nights across the street from Charlie's house before they finally got their chance. They saw Charlie's family drive away, presumably to the movies. Henry used his crowbar to pry open the door, then stayed downstairs to keep watch while Danny went upstairs to Charlie's room to look for the card. Five minutes later, a sudden voice shouting "Freeze, asshole!" shattered the silence of the night. Of course, it was not Danny's voice.

Henry tiptoed upstairs to find Danny being held at gunpoint by an old man who he assumed was Charlie's grandfather. The old man's unexpected presence disrupted Henry's plan, and Danny was so terrified that he wet himself. In desperation, Henry rushed out of the shadows and hit the old man with his crowbar, with the intention of knocking him out so the two boys could escape. However, perhaps it was a reflex, or perhaps it was fate, but in the moment the crowbar struck the old man, the gun went off.

Although Henry did not use his full strength, the blow to the back of the head was severe enough to leave the victim bedridden for the rest of his life. As for Danny, he was even more unfortunate. The bullet went straight through his heart. His blood soaked into the trading card that was in his pocket, and just like that, a young life was snuffed out for nothing.
