Ooh! This detective's smart. I think Reginald may have met his match.

Hahaha! What a surprise. Reginald coated the stolen diamonds with an anesthetic.
The detective ended up being knocked out while questioning him.
Reginald wins again! He certainly is worthy of his legendary reputation.

Unsurprisingly, Reginald outsmarted the detective yet again.
He put anesthetic on the diamonds before being questioned, and as it diffused into the air, it made the detective pass out.
But why didn't it affect Reginald? Because he's the protagonist?
